Numbers!

The second week of school we started having our daily number talks during calendar time. Each day, we have a number of the day. We talk about which digits make up our number, where we've seen that number, how to write that number correctly and different ways to make the number using place value blocks, money, straws, pictures, tally marks, etc.

Students brought in objects for our Numbers Museum showing that numbers are all around us!
