Last week Mrs. R., who teaches fourth grade math and science, visited our class to teach a lesson on sinking and floating. I team taught with Mrs. R. for three years before moving to kindergarten. That was one of the hardest parts about coming to kindergarten. I have been telling Mrs. R. how AMAZING our class is and how much fun we have, so she has been anxious to come downstairs and see for herself.
We tested different objects to see if they "float like a boat" or "sink to the bottom of the sea" and talked about what causes something to sink or float.
